Before you confirm a fast-match request, you'll see the real wait time for the next available doctor, not a guess. If wait times are longer than usual (during peak hours, for example), you can choose to wait, or if you have Plus or Family, browse doctor profiles yourself and book a specific time slot instead.

You're never charged until a doctor actually connects, so waiting costs you nothing.
